What is it?
Two 15-minute abdominal workouts from fitness expert Tamilee Webb. Who is it for? You want great abs? This video will help you get 'em - but it won't be easy! Beginning exercisers will find this tape tough, but if they persist it will pay off. Even more experienced exercisers will be challenged by the second workout. One exercise in the second segment requires one or two light dumbbells. What to expect: Tamilee Webb has an incredible midsection, and she seemingly breezes through both these abdominal workouts. You will not have such an easy time (that is, unless you have "abs of steel" that rival Webb's), and that's a good thing. Like in her other "I Want Those" videos, Webb used scientific research to discern the most effective exercises - ab exercises, in this case. The result is one 15-minute "beginner's" segment that contains a number of powerful variations on the basic crunch. Webb is careful to clearly explain form - an extremely important aspect of ab work. Keep in mind that these are not wimpy moves - even experienced exercisers will feel a burn. Form is even more crucial in the second segment, which contains a number of exercises for the obliques and intercostals (your side ab muscles and those little muscles between your ribs). You say you didn't know about the intercostals? You will the day after this workout! These exercises are especially challenging and you must do them properly; otherwise you risk straining your back. But the extra effort is worth it, because the second segment works every muscle in your abdominal section. Because everyone wants either a flat stomach or a six-pack, there are loads of abdominal exercise videos on the market, but Webb's is one of the absolute best.
