Tamilee Webb's Fit to the Hits: Rock Hard Assets
(Goldhil)
2002
What is it?
A half-hour cardio workout from fitness expert Tamilee Webb. It features covers of 1970s and early 1980s hard rock tunes. Who is it for? Beginning exercisers - baby boomers who remember these songs will enjoy this workout the most. What to expect: Get ready to pull out that air guitar! If you're a fan of classic hard rock, you'll enjoy working out to tunes like "China Grove" and "Free Ride" (while the tunes aren't the originals, they're very decent covers). Tamilee Webb cuts loose on this "just for fun" cardio routine and even breaks into song a couple of times. In addition to classic, low-impact moves, she literally has you playing air guitar and air drums, so if you feel silly doing this type of thing, you may want to give this routine a pass. If you want a workout that doesn't take itself so seriously, however, you'll like sweating to this. It's geared towards the beginning exerciser, so those who are more experienced, or are used to going longer than half an hour, may find Fit to the Hits a little too easy. As a bonus, the DVD includes one of the two 15-minute workouts from Webb's I Want That Body video, so you can cue that up and get some strength training in addition to your cardio workout. This makes for an effective 45 minutes of exercise. To Order Fit to the Hits: Rock Hard Assets on DVD
