We all know that we're supposed to eat a minimum of three to five servings of fruits
and vegetables every day, but how many of us really do? That's why the growing selection of pre-cut
fruits and vegetables is so great - with this much convenience, we have no excuse to avoid getting our
daily fill of these essential foods. You can find baby carrots in single-serving bags, pre-sliced
apples that don't go brown, celery cut and ready to fill with peanut butter. These are incredibly easy
snacks that you can take just about anywhere. And what about those bags of pre-cut, pre-mixed Chinese
vegetables - can you say "no-hassle stir-fry"? Nowadays, more and more markets are carrying pre-cut
fruits and vegetables of all kinds, from broccoli to squash. Check out your options in the produce
section next time you're shopping - you're sure to find a number of easy ways to make your diet
fresher and healthier!
