Meal replacement bars, protein bars, energy bars - most of us eat them for a quick pick-me-up or when we don't have time to sit down for a real breakfast or lunch, but do we enjoy them? All too many of these bars, whether they're low-carb, low-fat, high energy or whatever, are only barely palatable. Some of them are way too high in calories (340 calories for a bar? You might as well treat yourself to some ice cream!). Others taste good the first couple of times you eat them, but after that you get tired of them. When it comes to bars, it's time to get honest - what most of us are looking for is a candy bar that's healthy (or at least not as unhealthy as a real candy bar). The Caramel Nut Blast must have been pretty successful because in the past few months they've added a couple more flavors - Rocky Road, with thick, rich chocolate, nuts and squishy marshmallow, and Chocolate Peanut Butter which, while it won't completely replace a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, is still delicious. All three flavors contain 23 essential vitamins and minerals, no artificial flavors, colors, sweeteners or preservatives, and are not much over 200 calories.
